I’m a big ramen fan and have been visiting this place for years. After trying all the ramen spots in Austin, I can confidently say this is the best I’ve had. Recently, the restaurant changed ownership—the previous owner sold the business and retired. However, the quality of the food has remained just as great. I’ve even noticed some improvements under the new owner, like fresh paint on the chairs and an adjusted layout.

If you want to try one of the best ramen place in Austin then Kanji Ramen is THE ONE to visit! I have been here many times and never been disappointed. The food, environment and overall vibes is absolutely amazing! Some of the new additions on the menu such as Shumai and Popcorn chicken are must try! I absolutely loved the Spicy Veggie Ramen too! Had an amazing time and will be visiting again!

One of the best ramen spot in the town. For our appetizer we had their Shumai (noodle wrapped dumplings) and Rock Shrimp, it was so good.
For my main course I had their signature Kanji Ramen and it was so so delicious. I would recommend every one to visit this ramen spot for amazing food experience 🤤
